In conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year and the auspicious Year of the Horse in the Lunar calendar, Carlsberg Malaysia’s Northern Region team embarked on their annual festive courtesy visits to trade partners and members of the media across Penang.

Led by Northern Region Sales Manager Toh Swee Huat, the team personally extended warm Chinese New Year greetings and appreciation to their valued partners, accompanied by team members who shared in the festive cheer.

As part of the visits, the Carlsberg team presented specially curated tokens of appreciation featuring the Golden Horse, symbolising strength, prosperity and success in the year ahead.

The creative design included a carousel shaped gift containing the Golden Horse, ang pow packets and Carlsberg cans.

Among the organisations and individuals visited were the Penang Chinese Town Hall, The Star, Kwong Wah Yit Poh, China Press, Nanyang Siang Pau, Sin Chew Daily, Guang Ming Daily, Penang Hyperlocal, as well as YB Teh Lai Heng, State Assemblyman for Komtar and YB Joseph Ng, State Assemblyman for Ayer Itam.

This annual Chinese New Year tradition reflects Carlsberg Malaysia’s continued commitment to fostering harmony, strengthening relationships and building lasting friendships with its clients, supporters and the media fraternity in Penang, while ushering in the new year with goodwill, positivity and shared celebrations.
