A team from Carlsberg Malaysia’s Northern Region office recently paid a courtesy visit to several media outlets in Ipoh to spread early Chinese New Year cheer and strengthen long-standing media relations ahead of the festive season.
The visit was led by Northern Region General Manager Toh Swee Huat, accompanied by members of his management team. During the visits, the team exchanged festive greetings and shared insights on the upcoming Chinese New Year celebrations.
Ushering in the Year of the Fire Horse, the new lunar year is believed to symbolise intense energy, passion and rapid transformation — qualities that reflect resilience, progress and bold aspirations for the year ahead.

As part of the outreach, the Carlsberg Malaysia team visited the offices of Oriental Daily, Nanyang Siang Pau, China Press and Sin Chew Media Corporation.
To commemorate the occasion, the media representatives were presented with a specially curated Chinese New Year gift — a miniature carousel souvenir featuring a horse motif, thoughtfully designed to mark the lunar calendar and convey wishes of prosperity, vitality and continued success in the year to come.
