A bevy of food counters at the Garden Cafe at the Golden Sands Resort overflow to the adjacent garden area offering sumptuous action stalls with local dishes.
Some 14 stalls there put out choices of char keow teow, satay, variety of seafood BBQ, “must have” roast lamb, ice kacang, cendol local kueh, air bandung, soya bean, teh tarik and other assortment of drinks.
Over at the Garden Cafe itself, the counters are decked with the likes of biryani rice, murtabak, shawarma, chicken/mutton curry, beef, variety of salads, more local kueh varieties and many more.

Curated from family recipes, their in-house chefs present a varied selection of regional and novel dishes under one roof.
Comprising ten stations with different selections for guests to savour, each station is manned by designated chefs who are specialists of respective cuisines and styles.
Other delights include prawn mee, pasembur to main courses featuring poultry and seafood cooked to perfection using traditional ingredients.
Among the favourites from the main course station are Ayam Bakar Timur Tengah, Murtabak Ayam & Daging, Lemang & Ketupat, Nasi Biryani, Ayam, Daging & Kambing, Pasembur, Satay, Koay Teow Goreng, Sup Gear Box, Ikan Bakar and Mee Udang.

“This Eat-all-you-can Selera Kampung spread is based on Malay cuisine with many featured heritage dishes and interpretation styles not commonly found in restaurants.
Among the dishes are those based on how our mothers prepared them and traditional home cooked cuisines based on recipes passed down by elderly relatives to us so that we can continue to keep their culinary legacy alive.” said Chef Riezal. Masir, the Executive Sous Chef of Golden Sands Resort.
