After a long hiatus due to the Movement Control Order (MCO) and lockdowns, popular club Soju returns in the form of “baby soju” at Times Square in Georgetown.
In its heyday, the Soju Club was among the top nightspots in the city providing live bands and deejays.
Now though, the new baby soju is more of a bistro serving food and drinks. They recently had their opening ceremony with the “Red Indian” theme.
Among their food & beverage choices are their Thai cuisine, like Seafood tomyam noodles, Thai style fried rice, Shrimp vermicelli pot, Pork omelet, Prawn omelet, Thai papaya salad, Glass noodles salad with prawn, Green chicken curry and Tomyam seafood.
The Western choices are Vege aglio olio, Pork bacon carbonara, Spicy pork bolognese, Beef bolognese, Macaroni gratin, Smoked duck fettuccine, Bacon pro burger, Chargrilled chicken thigh burger and Double cheese burger.
To wash down your meals there are a list of soft drinks, juices , beer, wine, whisky and more.
Meanwhile, for your listening pleasure, you will also be entertained by solo singer, Nicole, who also plays the keyboards. Nicole renders songs in English, Mandarin and Malay songs.
Baby soju will make a popular hangout for those looking for a night out for the up-coming Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year holidays.
