New signings for the Ascott brand
The Ascott hospitality brand is fast gaining traction in Penang.
Ascott Limited has just concluded the signing of two more new Citadines properties in the world heritage site of Georgetown, Penang.
First is the Citadines Connect Cecil Georgetown Penang, a 134 unit hotel situated on two conserved heritage buildings.
Next is the Citadines Connect Bertam Georgetown, Penang.
Both are expected to open in Q4 2024.
Already, the group has the Ascott Gurney Penang, Citadines Connect Georgetown Penang, Citadines Prai Penang Hotel in operation here,
Also in the pipeline are the HARRIS Sunshine Penang Penang Hotel in Ayer Itam, lyf branded hotel in the Upper Penang Road, Oakwood branded hotel in Batu Maung and the Citadines in Tanjong Tokong.
For the record, Citadines is our fastest growing brand in the Ascott portfolio, with almost 200 properties both operational and in the pipeline globally, to date.
Within Malaysia, our portfolio of more than 30 properties also expands across our global brands including Ascott, lyf, Oakwood and Somerset.
