The Ascott Gurney Penang brings a myriad of food choices of Christmas goodies for guests and the whole family and friends to celebrate Xmas.
The hotel located along Gurney Drive started off their celebration with a Christmas Tree lighting ceremony attended by business partners, guests and media members.
Welcoming them was their general manager Chan Kuok-Pin and his team members.
In keeping with their sustainability aspirations, the stunning 16-foot tree is made entirely from recycled materials. They have utilised recycled wood, upcycled ornaments and energy-efficient lighting in making the Christmas tree located at their lobby.
The wood for the tree was sourced from old furniture and materials found within the hotel. Along with the input of Chan, the team managed to put up the tree to reflect the season of giving.
“By using recycled materials and energy-efficient lighting, we are not only bringing the festive spirit to life, but also leading by example in showing how small changes can have a positive impact on our environment. We hope this tree inspires our guests and the wider community to embrace sustainability in their own celebrations”, added Chan.
Children from the Salvation Army Boys Home were also invited for the launch ceremony yesterday evening.
Meanwhile, guests can expect seasonal favourites like roast lamb, roast chicken, roast turkey, mains, cakes and other desserts for all to enjoy. They also offer a list of takeaways for guests to enjoy in the comforts of their home too.
They are offering their Christmas Eve dinner at RM268+ (adult), RM200+ (senior citizen & child). Then their Christmas Day lunch is at RM199+ and RM149+ (senior citizen & child).
The hotel’s New Year countdown starts with a wine pairing dinner at RM368+ per person.
