A proud Penangite with over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Angelyna—fondly known as Angel to her friends—has built a remarkable career grounded in passion, leadership and excellence.
She began her journey in 2005 in the Food & Beverage department, discovering her love for Sales just a year later. Since then, she has held key roles at several esteemed 4- and 5-star properties including Holiday Inn Resort Penang, Hotel Equatorial Penang, St. Giles Wembley (pre-opening) and Bayview Hotels.
Now at the helm of the pre-opening Sales & Catering team at HARRIS Hotel & Conventions Sunshine Penang, Angelyna brings her extensive expertise and dynamic leadership to one of Penang’s most anticipated hospitality projects.
Known for her sales-driven approach and results-oriented mindset, she leads by example and inspires her team to “walk the talk.” Her enthusiasm for event management and unwavering focus on performance continues to set her apart as a true hospitality professional.
Angelyna reports to her new boss, general manager, Andrew Tan on all business matters.
