The lobby lounge at the Eastin Hotel Penang introduces their two-piece band simply called – “Amir and Esther”.
Hailing from Penang, the duo are capable of delivering numbers in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and Cantonese too.
Their repertoire consists of current hits, sentiment hits, ballads among other genres.
They are performing every Monday till Thursday and the band is popular with in-house guests and walk-in customers.
“Although we are a newly formed band, we were quick to collaborate and harmonise our musical talents.
“Both of us deliver songs in multiple languages and we also accept requests from guests”, added Amir.
Esther is also a talented singer and keyboard player who has performed at several cafes and lounges in the city.
They take to the stage from 7pm till 10pm for four sets.
Presently, the lounge is offering the “Buy One, Get One Free” during happy hour on selected beverages.
