With this in mind, the new general manager of the Amari Johor Bahru Pauline Chua brought along with her new fervour at the 5-star hotel.
Having been appointed to the post in April this year, Chua has already raked in three awards for the chic hotel.
Recently, Amari Johor Bahru was awarded the “Best Halal Destination Award” by Tourism Malaysia Johor Bahru.
The gala event was held at the Fraser Place Puteri Harbour, Iskandar Puteri recently.
“We are pleased upon attaining this award and it reflects on the effort Amari has put in order to be an inclusive hub not only limited to food services but also other accommodations like the designated prayer rooms that we provide at the hotel.
“As a key player in the Johor tourism industry, I believe that Amari Johor Bahru has become aprominent contributor to its development in making halal tourism effortless and we will be continuing these pivotal initiatives.” said Chua.
Among the popular facilities at the hotel is the Amari’s Amaya Food Gallery which offers a variety of
Muslim-friendly menu options.
The outlet is not only popular with locals but also with Singaporeans and other foreign guests.
The hotel is also popular for its signature Thai delicacies as the dedicated Thai Chef Ms Jakranee Kalapen who churns out tasty and delicious dishes for guests.
Earlier, Amari Johor Bahru had also won the Muslim-Friendly Accommodation Recognition (MFAR) by the Islamic Tourism Centre of Malaysia (ITC).
They also offer Muslim-friendly venues and events, from weddings to corporate gatherings. In line with this, they recently introduced their unique wedding packages that include halal menu options to be served at the reception.
Meanwhile, the Majestic Johor 2023 award ceremony saw some 40 awards presented for various categories.
