Aloft Langkawi Pantai Tengah’s general manager, Adrian Chua was recently honoured with the Malaysia’s Best General Managers (Hospitality) citation by CMO Asia.

With more than three decades of local and international experience in the hospitality industry, it is due recognition for the up and coming industry leader. 

Chua has served in hotels in Kuala Lumpur, Johor, Penang and China, namely in cities like   Beijing, Qingdao, Xian, Fuzhou, Futian, Shenzhen and other locations. 

More importantly, his term in Wuhan was more significant as it was during the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic from 2018 to 2021.

Starting from humble beginnings in the industry, he has worked his way up the ladder and holds a

Masters in Business Administration from University Tun Abdul Razak.

Meanwhile, the 4-star Aloft Langkawi Cenang offers 209 chic and trendy rooms along with a myriad of activities for the kids and also adults from the kids club, art activities.

Among their other facilities are the Nook Restaurant, ballroom, meeting rooms, infinity pool, gym among others.

Chua is also mindful of his duties to the community and volunteers in Persatuan Kebajikan Persatuan Hotel Malaysia (PHM), a non-profit organization that consists of over 420 hospitality members throughout South East Asia mainly in China, Hong Kong, Macao and Malaysia. 

They also cater for a list of international guests namely from the Arab countries, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, UK, Europe and locals too.

On the same note, Chua was recently appointed as the vice chairman of the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) Kedah/Perlis Chapter.
