A whopping RM1,000,000 was presented for a worthy cause, to educate the future generation from the B40 group in Penang.
On hand was Penang Governor Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak at a presentation ceremony held at The TOP ballroom.
Also present was Penang Deputy Chief Minister 1, Dato Ahmad Zakiyuddin Abdul Rahman, State Exco for Trade and Industry Entrepreneurial Development, Datuk Abdul Halim Hussain and State Exco for Environment and Welfare, YB Phee Boon Poh among others.
Some 150 schools in Penang benefitted from the timely assistance. Headmasters, teachers and students representing the various schools were also in attendance.
There was also a lucky draw session and souvenir presentation at the ceremony.
Guests also posed for a group photo with the Governor.
