Earlier this evening, the celebratory launch was led by Chai Wen Yew, Senior General Manager of Sunway Carnival Mall, together with Puan Zuraidah Abu Bakar, Assistant Director of Tourism Malaysia Northern Region.
In his festive address, Chai shared that this year’s theme is all about giving everyone a little place to escape—an enchanting nook brimming with warmth, whimsy, and décor designed to spark joy.
“And of course, we’re thrilled to introduce Twixy, our sweet and slightly mischievous guardian of festive magic,” he added with a smile.
“Twixy is here to remind us of something adults often forget—that the childlike wonder within us never truly fades. Sometimes, all it needs is a moment like this to shine again.”
Chai also emphasized that Sunway Carnival Mall has always been more than a place to shop and dine. It is a safe, welcoming space where families come together, friends reconnect, and little moments of joy turn into lifelong memories.
“Sunway Carnival Mall has officially completed its transformation into a modern hub for shopping, dining, and leisure in the northern region. With a total investment of RM800 million, the mall now offers over 350 retail lots and 3,200 parking bays across seven levels. The team is on track to welcome 12 million shoppers annually—a reflection of the community’s trust and growing support.
To kick off the festivities, Chai and Zuraidah unveiled a giant gift box that burst open with a flurry of colourful balloons, marking the joyful start of Christmas at the mall.
Shoppers can also look forward to meeting Twixy beside the fluffy bauble Christmas tree—soft, snowy, and sprinkled with twinkling, joyful ornaments.
