Music lovers from Alor Setar gathered for a sentimental and unforgettable Gymkhana Night at the StarCity Hotel yesterday evening. The one-night-only event drew an enthusiastic crowd of over 60 guests, all eager to relive the golden days of music from yesteryear.
Entertainment for the evening was provided by the talented two-piece Domino band, who kept the audience captivated with a repertoire of timeless classics. Their heartfelt performance rekindled the joy of live music in the cozy ambiance of the hotel’s venue.

To mark the special occasion, the hotel introduced a signature mocktail named “Shirley Manis,” a playful twist on the classic Shirley Temple. Guests were also treated to a delectable buffet featuring a fusion of local and Western cuisine, thoughtfully prepared by newly appointed head chef Rosli Shiib and his dedicated team.
More than just a night of music and food, the event fostered fellowship and camaraderie among attendees, making it a meaningful gathering for many.

Ms. Justlyn Lai, Sales and Marketing Manager of StarCity Hotel, shared that the hotel plans to continue hosting such themed nights monthly to bring the community together through music and shared experiences.
By the end of the evening, guests left with full hearts, satisfied appetites, and fond memories of a night well spent. Lending support was the hotel’s general manager, Eugene Dass.
