A replica of a tiger made from polygon cubes measuring 3.96 long and 1.45m in height made it into the Malaysia Guinness Book of Records.
It is located at the C-Mart Hypermarket in Nibong Tebal.
Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow was on hand to launch the unveiling recently.
Local company, Ledanim Sdn Bhd had made the replica of the tiger in conjunction with the Year of the Tiger.
The company managing director Loh Hoong Liak said that the model took about a month to complete.
“There are 1,098 cubes in the making of the tiger. This gives the tiger a futuristic look,” said Loh.
The gold cubes makes the tiger glow and looking radiant.
Meanwhile, Chow congratulated the team involved in the successful display of the tiger.
