A group of media members in Penang were given a sneak peek into the new “Andaman Island” located off the Straits Quay Retail Marina in Tanjung Tokong.
Dubbed to be the first ever property development for millennials and first-time house buyers, the project is developed by the E&O Berhad.
Covering an area of four acres on the island, The Meg @Andaman is the first condo project with two towers of residential units totalling 1020 units. Tower A is 27 storeys and Tower B 34 storeys.
The project is located directly across the waters of Seri Tanjung Pinang and Gurney Drive covering the 253-acre island.
More importantly, Andaman will have over 90 acres of green area with more than 200,00 plants in Phase 1. Also, a wide network of walkways will span the entire island for pedestrians, cyclists and the disabled.
In the meantime, the first link bridge connecting the northern part of Andaman Island to Seri Tanjung Pinang has already been completed.
Potential buyers can view their future homes at the showroom located on the island.
The residential units offer an innovative layout designed to suit young executives and new families (Of course the units are freehold).
Once completed the location will offer an “all in one” venue as it will feature commercial outlets, health, wellness, education, supermarkets, cafes, bars and other retail options.
