Japan’s largest SHABU SHABU restaurant chain brand, SHABU-YO, celebrated the grand opening of its eighth outlet in Malaysia at Sunway Carnival Mall, Penang, marking another significant milestone in the brand’s continued growth across the country.
The new restaurant is also SHABU-YO’s second outlet in Penang, following the successful opening of its first outlet at Queensbay Mall in February 2025. The latest opening reflects the strong demand for authentic Japanese Shabu Shabu dining experiences among Penang consumers and reinforces the brand’s commitment to serving more communities across Malaysia.

The new opening in Penang will showcase a menu centered around their most popular promotion, the ‘All-You-Can-Eat’ course, starting from RM39.90++ per adult or child. The course features unlimited refills of pork and chicken, a variety of fresh vegetables, an array of beverage options, and enticing side dishes such as takoyaki and crispy fried karaage. The dining durations are as follows: lunch (unlimited) and dinner (120 minutes).
