The dynamic five-piece sensation Kaya The Band is making its way to Rockafellers Straits Quay, Penang on Saturday, June 28, 2025, as part of the venue’s 3rd Anniversary Party.
This high-energy performance is part of Kaya’s nationwide tour, which kicked off on June 15 in Petaling Jaya. Titled “Rockafellers x Kaya”, the Penang stop promises a night of electrifying funk, rock, and soulful rhythms, keeping partygoers grooving all night long with infectious tunes and dynamic stage presence.
Presented in collaboration with Jameson Irish Whiskey, this tour is more than just a concert—it’s a celebration of music, movement, and unforgettable memories.
Formed in Kuala Lumpur, Kaya has become known for their unique blend of funk grooves, sharp guitar licks, and explosive energy on stage. Drawing inspiration from the golden era of funk, soul, and rock—with a modern edge—the band has become a rising force in Malaysia’s live music scene.
With crowd favorites like “Party All Night” and “Go It Alone”, and following the success of their sold-out debut festival “A Kaya Experience”, Kaya is now taking their signature sound across the country.
