Start planning your next getaway, the Penang edition of the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) fair is scheduled to be held here from May 24 to 25, 2025.
The fair will be held at the Setia SPICE Arena offering a total of 270 booths. They offer trips and getaways to numerous local and foreign destinations.
Present at a press conference held at the Courtyard by Marriott here to announce the upcoming showcase was MATTA Penang Chapter chairman Ms Carolyn Leong and Datuk Hamzah Rahmat, organising chairman for this year.
Representing RHB Bank who are the exclusive platinum sponsor was Joe Tien, Regional Director Group Distribution, RHB Bank and Ms Chan Suet Bee, branch manager RHB Bank Lebuh Pantai.
According to Hamzah, they expect some 45,000 visitors from the whole of the Northern Region to come to the fair.
“In view of Visit Malaysia Year 2026 we will also focus on promoting and showcasing the attractions plus locations in the country,” added Hamzah.
Meanwhile, Tien added that as the Exclusive Platinum Sponsor, RHB aims to support travellers and travel industry players in
