Two-piece local band, the City Band performs at the Art & Soul Cafe at the Hotel NEO+ Penang in Georgetown.
Lead singer and keyboard player, Hazman Aziz accompanied by lead female singer Siti Norddin on vocals.
The pair has more than 20 years in the entertainment industry performing at numerous hotels and private clubs in the city.
Their repertoire consists of Evergreen numbers, Oldies, Country & Western, Reggae, Cha Cha, Rumba and other sentimental hits.
They can render songs in English, Spanish, Malay, Mandarin, Hindi to entertain guests.
Among their popular numbers are “Kingston Town”, “Sway”, “That’s Amore”, “Achy Breaky Heart”, “Top of the World”, “Now or Never” to name a few.
“We also welcome song requests from guests and welcome them to take to the dance floor too.
“As for favourite singers, I am a fond follower of Celine Dion and local artist Siti Nurhaliza,” shared Siti.
The duo perform three sets every Friday and Saturday from 8.30pm till 11.15pm. Happy hours are from 5pm to 8pm.
