The German Cultural Festival, “Oktoberfest” will be held in Penang on Nov 8 (Friday) and 9 (Saturday), 2024.
It is organised by the Malaysian- German Society (MGS) here. As in previous years, it will be held on the lawns of the MGS compound from 7pm onwards.
The celebration will offer authentic German food in the likes of sauerkraut, pretzels, sausages, cheese and many more favourites.
There will also be a musical treat offering original traditional German songs and music for guests by the Bavarian oompah band – “Franken Rauber” to enjoy and partake in.
There will be numerous stalls and outlets selling souvenirs and other products for guests. Lufthansa and Singapore Airlines are among the sponsors for the gathering.
