The Pertubuhan Kebajikan Setia Ikhlas Pulau Pinang (PKSIPP) celebrated its first anniversary at the Sunway Hotel Georgetown earlier today.
They also invited several charitable homes along with the children and caregivers.
The event, dubbed “A Gift of Love”, saw the kids perform several song and dance routines to entertain guests.
Leading support to the celebration was Penang Deputy Chief Minister II YB Jagdeep Singh Deo and state assemblyman for Pulau Tikus YB Joshua Woo.
Organising chairperson, Penny Theseira welcomed guests and thanked donors for their support and contributions.
It was followed by the speech by PKSIPP president, Dato Aloysious Gasper who shared that they are now assisting a total of 26 homes with groceries, school uniforms and also during various celebrations in the country.
“When God is in our midst, everything is possible. We will keep up with the good work and spread the spirit of friendship and goodwill in the community”, he added.
The VIP guests also joined hands to perform the cake cutting ceremony to mark their first anniversary.
Gasper also thanked sponsors especially, the Sunway Hotel Georgetown, Solutions and members of Pertubuhan Kebajikan Setia Ikhlas Pulau Pinang in putting the event successfully.
They also present RM1,000 each to representatives of several homes who have been invited.
By the end of the evening, guests were treated to a splendid hi-tea session with local delights and desserts.
