Catherine Ooi is the new DOSM

The Aloft Langkawi Pantai Cenang has welcomed onboard two new management team members recently.
First on the list is their new Director of Sales and Marketing (DOSM), Ms Catherine Ooi who hails from Penang.
She was formerly with several leading hotels in Penang and most recently at the Granite Luxury Hotel in Georgetown, Penang.
Prior to this, she had served in various hotels like the Shangri-La Rasa Sayang Resort, St Giles Wembley Hotel and the Hilton group.
Although starting her career as a rank and file employee, Ooi has worked hard to her current role to lead a team to drive the revenue and sales for the 4-star hotel in Langkawi.
As a team player, she also encourages her team members to share their input and ideas for the overall benefit of the property.
Catherine Tee is the new DOF
Another new face at the resort is Catherine Tee or “Cat” who is the Director of Finance. She comes with more than 18 years in the industry.
Among her former employers were the Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur, Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, Star Cruises, Four Points By Sheraton Puchong to name a few.
When not at work, Cat is a talented musician, she plays the piano, saxophone and the trombone too. And that’s not an easy act to follow !
Both of the new appointees will report to their general manager, Adrian Chua.
