The Foodie Guide is now available on the MinitAgo app to assist visitors and tourists to popular dining locations in Penang.
According to the State Exco for Tourism and Creative Economy, YB Wong Hon Wai, the new app can revolutionise local, tourist experience.
“Locals and tourists in Penang can now skip the hassle of endless scrolling to find places of interest or famous food spots nearby.
“Instead, they can use the Foodie Guide on the MinitAgo App to explore Penang’s culinary delights and attractions effortlessly.
“MinitAgo is an innovative app that maps ongoing happenings in real time, making it useful and accessible worldwide,” said Wong.
He also praised the collaboration between MinitAgo and Good Foodie Media.
“The digital era is evolving, especially with efforts to connect local businesses. I believe this food guide will help locals and travellers explore more local cuisine,” he added.
Also present was the vice president of the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH), Dato Khoo Boo Lim, MAH Penang Chapter chairman Dato Tony Goh, his vice chairman Ben Ho, Penang Global Tourism Chief Executive Officer Ooi Chok Yan among others.
