Family, friends and party members gathered at the Wadda Gurduwara Sahib in Georgetown, Penang to commemorate the 10th anniversary of DAP stalwart, the late Karpal Singh.
Showing support was Tan Sri Lim Kit Siang, Lim Guan Eng among others.
“He will live in us all to do good and serve. Thank you all for your gracious attendance to commemorate the anniversary.
“Our family is indeed very humbled with the immense attendance to honour the irreplaceable legend of Karpal Singh whom I am very certain is now in a better place after his contributions to all layers of society from his heart’,” said YB Jagdeep Singh Deo, the Deputy Chief Minister 11 of Penang.
Also present was Jagdeep’s brother Ramkarpal Singh who is the Member of Parliament for Bukit Gelugor.
Prayers were held over three days at the Gurdwara to mark the occasion. All those who attended the prayers were also served traditional meals at the Gurduwara.
