MAH Penang team with Dr Annuar
Members of the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) Penang Chapter paid a courtesy call on the newly appointed director of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) Penang, Dr Annuar Mohamed at his office earlier today.
They were led by the chairman Dato Tony Goh and his delegation.
Lending support was vice chairman Kevin Cheah (general manager of Iconic Hotel).
Also president was Puan Hadillah Rozali of Motac Penang (Unit Perlesenan Pelancongan).
They had a fruitful discussion on matters pertaining to the tourism industry and on ways to further promote Penang as a preferred holiday destination.
Goh also presented a souvenir to Dr Annuar as a token of appreciation.
Other MAH Penang members present at the gathering were Dato Gulab Mahatam Rai (GM Lone Pine Hotel and Hotel NEO+ Penang), Suffian Phoong (GM Hompton Hotel), John Kim (GM Mei Hotel), Amran Taib (Royal Hotel), Dennis Lee (GM Royale Chulan Penang), Lynne Choong (Bayview Hotel Georgetown) Melvin Ooi (GM Prestige Hotel) and Tan Hock Khiam (GM Aroma Hotel).
