The Eastin Hotel Penang carried out a corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme to benefit children of Pengawas Asrama Murid OKU SMK Pendidikan Khas Tanjung Bunga recently.

They were hosted to a sumptuous break of fast at their newly renovated restaurant.

The kids were received the hotel’s newly promoted hotel manager, Ms Winnie Yap and her team.

Among them were heads of departments and staff members.

The event commenced with a prayer, followed by the breaking of fast, where the children indulged in a delectable iftar feast featuring a variety of sumptuous dishes meticulously prepared by the hotel’s culinary team.

Throughout the evening, both management and staff actively engaged with the children, sharing meals and conversations and fostering an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie.

The highlight of the evening was the delightful array of desserts and the presentation of duit raya and goodie bags for the kids.

Meanwhile, Yip expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate the Holy Month of Ramadan with the children, emphasizing the hotel’s commitment to making a positive impact in the community.

She also highlighted the importance of spreading happiness and creating inclusive spaces where everyone feels valued and welcomed, especially during this sacred month.
