The Mercure Penang Beach hosted a corporate social responsibility (CSR) event to show support to the local community recently.
This time around they packed 200 meals for delivery riders on the island to show appreciation for their hard work and commitment.
The tasty and delicious meals consisted of Nasi Biryani, chicken and vegetables.
The riders were mostly from the nearby areas of Tanjung Tokong and Tanjung Bungah.
Present was general manager Gerard Chan and his team to give away the hot piping meals to the riders.
The presentation started from 5pm so that the riders can also enjoy the meals for break of fast.
Kudos to Chef Nurhairi and his team for their hard work in preparing the meals and packing them splendidly.
The team endured the heat and sweat due to the current haze and managed to deliver the results.
Mercure Beach Penang hopes that their kind gesture will make a small contribution towards the betterment of the community and society.
