Members of the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) Penang Chapter gathered at the Amari SPICE Penang in keeping with their annual general meeting (AGM) updates and reports.
They were led by their chairman, Tony Goh along with his exco members made up of Ben Ho (Vice chairman), Kevin Cheah (Vice chairman), John Kim (Secretary) and Dennis Lee (Treasurer).
Also present were their committee members made up of Amran Talib, Dennis Cheng, Dato Lim Tiong Huai, Steven Suffian, Melvin Ooi, Punitha Mary and Lynne Choong.
Representing MAH National was their new chief executive officer Isaac Mohan Raj and vice president Dato Khoo Boo Lim.
Being the host hotel, the general manager of Amari SPICE Penang, Noorazzudin Omar and his team were also in attendance.
In all, some 34 member hotels in Penang lent support for the gathering.
Among the highlights of the 2022 calendar was the Penang Career Expo, MOU signing with PGT, Battle of Chefs, Durian Tourism by Tourism Malaysia, ATP annual dinner, PCEB gathering, MATTA Fair Penang among others.
With matters of the day put aside, participants were also entertained by a two-piece band and fine dinner put out by the food & beverage department of the Amari SPICE Penang.
MAH Penang has a membership of 94 hotels and resorts located on the island and mainland Penang.
