The Royal Caribbean Group is taking delivery of three new cruise ships in 2023.

In addition to the Icon of the Seas, which is set to become the world’s largest cruise ship, the company is also receiving new luxury and premium vessels.

Here’s the complete list of cruise ships set to be delivered to the Royal Caribbean Group in 2023:

The Silver Nova is scheduled to enter service ahead of the 2023 summer season in Europe. With an innovative design, the 728-guest luxury cruise ship is also set to become one of the greenest vessels of the global cruise fleet.

In addition to sustainable technologies that include a fuel cell system, batteries and LNG engines, the prototype vessel is also debuting what Silversea calls an “asymmetrical design,” which allows for unique public areas including a reimagined, outward-facing pool deck, an exclusive al fresco dining area and more.

Introducing a new series of vessels to the Royal Caribbean International fleet, the Icon of the Seas is scheduled for a Q4 delivery.

Set to become the world’s largest cruise ship, the 250,800-ton vessel is also introducing several new features, including a massive multi-deck pearl structure, one of the largest waterparks afloat and more.

Currently under construction at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland, the Icon is set to offer year-round cruising in the Caribbean starting in January 2024.

The new Celebrity Ascent is also debuting in 2023. Part of Celebrity Cruises’ Edge Series, the ship is set to enter service in December, offering week-long cruises in the Caribbean. A sister to the Celebrity Beyond, the 3,260-guest vessel is slightly larger than the two original ships in the class, the Celebrity Edge and the Celebrity Apex.

Among its many features is the Magic Carpet, a multi-purpose suspended platform that travels across the ship’s decks and can be used as tender embarking platform, a lounge, a restaurant and more.
