Opening their first-ever Taco Bell outlet in the Northern Region, the Mexican-inspired fast food outlet will open its doors this Saturday, October 29, 2022 at the City Junction Mall in Tanjong Tokong.
Penang island which is already a haven for good food and drinks will surely welcome this new addition to its wide range of fine food.
The launch of the Taco Bell City Junction outlet will mark the opening of the brands’ 15th outlet in Malaysia.
The restaurants serve a variety of Mexican-inspired foods, including tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, novelty and specialty items, and a variety of “value menu” items.
In conjunction with the launch, Taco Bell would like to ‘jio’ (meaning ‘invite’ in Hokkien) Penangites to its grand opening at 10am.
The opening will be followed by a performance at 12PM by the talented Penang Free School marching band.

The spacious restaurant offers dine-in seating, both indoors and alfresco, with a total capacity for 80 people. With several insta-worthy spaces and design features, this restaurant promises to be an exciting new destination for foodies in Penang.” said the spokesperson for City Junction.
In the meantime, the Taco Bell menu is customizable to the preferences of any customer.
Penangites will have a chance to try some of Taco Bell’s global favorites like the craveable Crunchy Taco Supreme™, Crunchwrap Supreme™, Chicken Quesadilla™, Grilled Stuft Burrito™, Loaded Nachos™, and delicious desserts such as Cinnamon Twists and Chocodilla™.
Taco Bell on Penang Island is located at No. 2-1-3 (Lot A), City Junction, Persiaran Lengkuas 2, 10470 Tanjung Tokong, Penang. Operating hours are 10am to 11pm daily.
Taco Bell’s first outlet in Malaysia is located in Cyberjaya.
