Penang Governor Tun Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak presented 56 smartboards to various schools in the state recently.

The gathering was held at his official residence at Seri Mutiara. 

Among those present was Dato’ Seri Rozali Mohamud, chief executive officer of Yayasan Amal TYT, Saiful Nizam Ramlee, Deputy director of Education Department (Resource and Technology) Tan Sri Tan Khoon Hai, chairman of the Penang Chinese Town Hall among other guests.

The presentation of the smartboards for selected schools in the state will help to provide interactive and creative learning practices while enhancing their education towards a high technological age.

The gesture will also reduce the burden of students carrying books and cultivate their interest in IT and technology.

Tun Ahmad Fuzi also presented certificates of appreciation for sponsors who had made the event a success during the ceremony.
