Working tirelessly day and night, candidates for the up-coming state elections are into their last lap of campaigning.
The N29 candidate for Datok Keramat is also hitting the ground running to meet and greet voters.
Be it children, elderly folk or eligible voters, Penang caretaker government’s committee chairman for Housing, Local Government, Town and Country Planning Jagdeep Singh Deo greets them all with wide smiles and occasional hugs.
His walkabout in his constituency has taken him to countless homes, flats, apartments and landed properties.
His team of volunteers are also busy working round the clock to make their presence felt.
“If given the opportunity to serve the people again in my constituency, I will continue with the following mitigation work in Jalan P. Ramlee.
“Although we have carried out many flood mitigation on a short, medium and long term basis like road widening and deepening of roads and the river, more needs to be done.
“We are confident that the Madani government will lend its support to help the people here,” he said while on his walkabout.
Voting starts this Saturday, August 12, 2023.
