The Penang Vasakhi Festival will be held at the Fort Cornwallis, Esplanade on Sunday, June 4th from 6pm onwards.
Lending presence is Penang Governor Tun Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak along with Chief Minister YAB Chow Kon Yeow and State Exco for Housing, Local Government, Town and Country Planning YB Jagdeep Singh Deo.
A plethora of amazing Punjabi food and a showcase of the community and culture along with lively entertainment will be on show.
The celebration has been postponed due to two years of the pandemic.
“This will be a successful Vasakhi Festival for all of us. We are also to have been able to flag off our Penang Sikh Youths for their Junior Hockey Tournament to be held in Johor and we wish them all the best.
