In view of the reopening of the economy and the ramping up of the Covid-19 vaccination, TOP, the No1 detergent in Malaysia is out to make its contribution towards the community.
Currently, the children from the ages of 12 to 17 are also being vaccinated and schools are reopening along with more tourist destinations are also being reopened.
In view of this development, TOP aims to lift the spirit and morale of the frontliners by donating 17,000 packs of their Advanced Micro-Clean Tech detergent for them.
The contribution also included those at 17 PPV centres, KPJ Healthcare and six Anjung Singgah NGO centres.
Another 96,000 packs of TOP detergents will be distributed for those who have been vaccinated including another 6,000 children who have been vaccinated worth RM424,000.
“Our success in the vaccination programme has seen a drastic reduction in Covid-19 cases in the country especially in the Klang Valley.
“This is a great relief for the hospitals and frontliners who have worked tirelessly for the last 18 months.
“We are very grateful to Southern Lion Sdn Bhd and TOP for their generous contribution towards our cause,” said Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin.
Meanwhile, the managing director of Southern Lion Sdn Bhd, Kazuo Mabuchi added that they value the vast contribution of the frontliners during this pandemic.
“We would like to send our recognition and appreciation for their commendable role through our contribution to TOP products.
“We are working with KPJ Healthcare and other NGOs for the distribution of the products,” said Kazuo.
