The Wembley – St Giles Hotel held its Ramadan corporate social responsibility (CSR) project to host several charitable homes and orphanages at their ballroom.
Present to welcome them was general manager Dato Tony Goh along with Cititel Penang general manager Amir Hisham and their team.
Among the guests was Tourism Malaysia Northern Region Director, Shahrul Aman, Penang Museum director Haryany Mohamad along with corporate guests.
Several charitable homes and orphanages were also invited to the get-together.
Among them were Pertubuhan Muslimah Insaniah Pulau Pinang, Madrasah Tahfiz Padang Tembak and Anak Anak Kesayangan Kepala Batas.
They were hosted to some delicious local and international dishes along with a list of traditional desserts and fruits.
In his address, Goh added that they were glad to share goodwill and memorable moments with guests and children from the orphanage.
“This gesture is our way of thanking our valued guests and corporate clients in this holy month”, he added.
Goh later presented hampers and duit raya to the children from the charitable homes. Guests were also treated to a lucky draw session offering meal vouchers and complimentary stays.
Lending support were the heads of departments of the hotel and their respective team members.
