The OPERO Hotel Southkey, Johor Bahru hosted its first ever Christmas Lighting Ceremony where some 150 corporate guests and media members gathered.

Guests were treated to some fine wine, soft drinks, canapes and entertainment by a two-piece band.

They also had the opportunity to mingle and get to know each other at the cocktail reception.

The sight of Santa and Santarina made the event more joyful as they handed out seasonal goodies to guests present.

The lighting ceremony was joined by their chief executive officer Datuk Mohamed Zaini Amran, executive director, Nor Aisyah Mohamad Zaini, directors of Opero Hotel and acting general manager, Jalaludeen Ariff.

Guests also had the chance to enjoy the hotel’s festive season menu for Christmas and New Year offering some mouth-watering dishes put out by the hotel’s Food & Beverage team at the Oliva Cafe.

The mainstay was the customary roast turkey accompanied by a list of dishes.

The hotel is offering its Christ Eve buffet dinner at RM178, Christmas Day Buffet Hi-Tea at RM138, New Year’s Eve buffet dinner at RM178.

The 238-room hotel was opened in March 2022.
