Malaysians can now go to Thailand wef Nov 1, 2021.
The latest announcement by Thai Prime Minister Prayut O-Cha allows for fully vaccinated travelers from 40-odd countries to visit the Kingdom.
Among the countries in the list are United States, China, Britain, France, Germany, Singapore, Cambodia, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and other European countries.
This new list is well above the 10 countries announced earlier.
However, travellers have to take a Covid test upon landing and stay in a government approved hotel for one night until the test results are ready.
The announcement is seen as a move to shore up the tourism industry of the country.
