As part of its fundraising initiative, the Tech Dome Penang launched its “Go Penang” booklet in a public/private initiative.

Among the 23 supporting partners are the the Audi Farm, 3D Trick Art, Earthquake Typhoon Pavilion, Entopia, Fort Cornwallis, Ghost Museum,  Magic World,  Glass Museum,  Habitat,  Mission Q, Penang Bird Park,  Project Rock, Teddyville, Tropical Spice Garden, Upside Down Museum,  Wonder Food Museum.

Amongst the hotel partners are the G Hotel, Granite Hotel, Iconic Hotel, Lexis Suites, The Light Hotel and Jen Hotel.

The booklets will also help promote Penang’s tourist destinations.

On hand to launch the programme was the State Exco for Tourism and Creative Economy YB Yeoh Soon Hin.

“The booklet offers a diverse choice like cultural experiences, outdoor adventures and luxury getaways.

“They are also very flexible and can be used for a variety of purposes,” said Yeoh in his speech.

He also shared that after the international borders were opened,  the Penang International Airport has received 183 international flights weekly. This is an exponential increase of 1425% compared to January 2022.

Also present was Tech Dome Penang’s chief executive officer,  Khoo Boo Wooi.

A total of 5,000 booklets will be on sale priced at RM20 each. The value of the complimentary and discount vouchers in each book is worth RM400. Corporates are also encouraged to buy the booklets in bulk.
