The StarCity hotel Alor Star plays host to an on-going art exhibition.
The event is being held at the hotel’s ballroom and ends on Oct 20th, 2025.
The showcase features a total of 250 paintings from 72 local artists all over the country.
The objective is to give a platform to these artists to showcase their talents and earn a living.
The event was organized by North Kedah Art Society and is headed by Madam Wong Siew Lee who is the President.
The event was officially launched by Lee Khai, the chairman of the Penang State Art Gallery.
Meanwhile, Eugene Dass, general manager of StarCity and Fuller hotels said that the exhibition is also part of the hotels initiative to give back to the community in support of the local art scene .
“The exhibition is also an avenue for local talents to feature their creative works,” he added.
Also present at the launch ceremony was the hotel’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Ms Justlyn Lai and her team.
