Some 30 select group of guests attended the Maison Moillard Wine dinner hosted at The Datai Langkawi over the weekend.
On hand to host the session was Ms. Alizé Drouet, the Export Manager of Maison Moillard from France.
Her guests were mostly from the various hotels and resorts on the tourist island along with several in-house guests.

Upon arrival guests were ushered to the resort’s Dining Room overlooking the swimming pool for a cocktail session.
As they mingled and got to know each other, they were served with several varieties of wines from the Burgundy region.
The main attraction was a six-course dinner paired with more exquisite French wine.
For starters guests had the Hamachi, Avocado, Palm Hearts, Grilled and Mix Vege Meli Melo , Elderflower Fennel Marinade Dressing served with Pouilly-Fuisse, La Grotte, Moillard 2022.
It was followed by the Hokkaido Butter Scallop with Saint-Veran, Les Marnes, Moillard 2022.
The third course offered Roasted Quail, Foie Gras with Pommard, ier Cru LesDrandsEpenots, Moillar 2018 along with the main course of Penang Cherry Duck with Spice Glaze paired with the Gevrey-Chambertin, Beau Versant,Moillard 2020.
Next was the Smoked San Simon cheese, Fruit Toast, Floral Meadow with Morgon, Les Collines, Moillard 2022 and finally finished off with the Crémant de Bourgogne, Brut Prestige, Moillard with dessert.
The enjoyable evening was brought together by the team at S.H Maju Sdn Bhd.
