As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), the Shangri-La Rasa Sayang and Shangri-La Golden Sands, Penang came together to cook and distribute free bubur lambuk to the Batu Feringgi community.

Volunteers from various departments of the resort got together to cook a total of 600 containers of bubur lambuk.

The project was aimed at fostering goodwill and strengthening community bonds, especially during this sacred month. 

This initiative also reflects the hotel’s commitment to serving the community.

Other than the volunteers, Area General Manager, Markus Christ along with other headsĀ of departmentĀ helped to prepare and hand out the containers of bubur lambuk to their colleagues, nearby mosques and the local community.
