The Shangri-La Golden Sands, Penang spread the warmth and joy of the festive season with a corporate social responsibility (CSR) project to help the needy.
This time around they brought much needed aid to the underprivileged children and OKU centre in Sungai Bakap.
They donated 50 pieces of high-quality king-size blankets to them.
The blankets were handed over by Mazlan Mansor, the executive housekeeper to MDS Paranjothi, Secretary of the Penang Hindu Association.
Golden Sands recognised the importance of keeping these old folks and poor children warm and comfortable during the monsoon season which is expected to last till March 2024.
The donation of these blankets aims to provide them with a cozy and secure environment, ensuring that they can sleep comfortably and stay warm throughout the night.
The Penang Hindu Association expressed their heartfelt appreciation for Golden Sands’ generous donation.
