Penang Hyperlocal highlights the dawn of the new decade –
Party goers at the G Hotel Gurney and G Hotel Kelawai gathered at the Gravity skybar to usher the New Year with the live band performance and countdown. Earlier, they had dined on a fine spread at the G Cafe and Spoon outlets.
Over at the Lexis Suites Penang, guests were seen enjoying fun games and the special dance/live band performances from ‘Mirrorman’ and Super Band throughout the whole night. Lucky winners also walk away with attractive hotel vouchers.
The Gurney Plaza highlighted live band and deejay performance to entertain the thousands of revellers gathered. Party goers also won lucky draw prizes.

The Straits Quay Retail Marina brought live band performance and LED dancers along with LED robot laser dance and fireworks display with DJ Coollen counting down the New Year.
The Queensbay Mall ushered in the New Year with a night packed with fun and entertainment for all. Among the highlights were the Fast & Furious DJ Spin, cool MJ impersonator, stilt walkers, exciting comedian jumpers , flashy LED dance, live band, snow shower and the “Fireworks by the Sea” display.
Meanwhile, The Top at Komtar showcased a spectacular fireworks display to light up the nigh sky with a burst of vibrant colours.
