Singapore’s low-cost carrier, Scoot will fly to the Subang Airport with effect Sept 1, 2024.
This is following another airline, TransNusa Airlines which also announces its connection from Jakarta, to Subang Airport or Sultan Abdul Aziz Airport.
The relevant authorities have given the approval for the two airlines to connect Singapore and Jakarta to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Prior to this development, the Subang Airport usually handled local flights in the country.
Scoot will fly its A320 model aircraft to service this route. The move will help cut down the travelling time taken to reach the KL city centre.
Scoot is also expected to increase its flight to Malaysian cities like Ipoh, Kota Kinabalu, Kuantan, Kuching, Langkawi, Miri, Penang and Sibu too.
Surely, the new connectivity will help boost local tourism.
