The chef at Ascott Gurney Penang

The newly opened Ascott Gurney Penang along the Gurney Drive belt, held its Ramadan Buffet Dinner food tasting for media members yesterday.  

On hand to welcome the media was general manager Sharon Ang, Warren Fernandez (director marketing communications), Ong Lay Sim (assistant director sales & marketing, Jacqueline Shu (cluster manager marketing) and Mondi Mecja (Country general manager Ascott International Management)

Ascott Gurney Penang is showcasing a fusion of local and Western cuisine at their Timur Coffee House.

Among the highlights include roast lamb, sup gearbox, satay, ayam masak merah, daging, briyani, mutton kurma, local kueh and an assortment of other local delicacies.

Other local delights are ulam ulam with sambal, kerabu, jeruk, rojak, fish curry, telur dadar, mussels, nasi hujan panas, roti canai and carbonara to name a few.

The hotel’s talented team of chefs have come up with the time tested favourites for guests to enjoy.

The promotion dubbed “Citarasa Nusantara” is available from April 8 till May 2, 2022. However, there is a buffet lunch on May 3, 2022 for Raya too.

The promotion is priced at RM108+ (adult) and RM50+ Child). There is an early bird promo at RM98+ and RM40+ for those booking their seats before April 8, 2022.
