Fresh from celebrating their centenary dinner over the weekend, members of the Old Xaverians’ Association received a royal visit by a former student of the St Xavier’s Institution.
Yang Amat Mulia Tengku Abdul Samad Shah Al-Haj, Tengku Panglima Besar Selangor and alumnus of the Class of 1968, visited St Xavier’s Institution on 22 January 2024.
He was received by Brother Director Jason Blaikie along with Old Xaverians Association president Dato Khoo Khay Seang and committee members.

He toured the Heritage Centre, appreciating the efforts to preserve the school’s history.
He also revisited what used to be his dormitory, now Equator College, recalling his childhood days. His visit also included a stop at OXA.
Later in the evening, Tengku was hosted to a fine dinner by the OXA committee members.
