Tomorrow, October 25, is World Pasta Day.
In conjunction with this celebration, Royale Chulan Penang is putting out seven tasty and unique pasta dishes to celebrate and pay tribute to one of the world’s most delicious and versatile foods ever.
The hotel’s “Simply Pastalicious” promotion is on till Oct 31st, 2023.
World Pasta Day was brought into existence as part of the World Pasta Congress on the 25th of October in 1995.
The World Pasta Congress engages in everything from encouraging consumers to try new pasta to providing important information to institutions and promotions of this increasingly popular food.
With that in mind, the masterful chefs of Royale Chulan Penang came together and whipped out seven unique pasta dishes that will tantalise your taste buds.
Every dish is a masterpiece, prepared with fresh,locally sourced ingredients and cooked to perfection. Some of the must try dishes would have to be the
Braised BBQ Short Ribs with Angel Hair Aglio Olio, Squid Ink Spaghetti with Salted Egg Sauce topped with Fresh Water Prawn and the Szechuan Mala Fettuccine with Grilled Chicken.
With plant-based dishes becoming more popular these days, the hotel has also incorporated that into their menu with their Spinach Tagliatelle and Plant-Based Schnitzel which will definitely appeal to the health-conscious community.
The Simply Pastalicious promotion will be available daily from 12.30pm to 10pm.
Guests can choose to order a la carte or they may choose to have it as a set whereby each set comes inclusive of one choice of Pasta, Soup (HomeMade Creamy Pumpkin Soup with Shredded Basil & Pumpkin Seed) and Dessert (Tiramisu Mousse with Mascarpone, Cream Cheese, Whipping Cream and Sponge Fingers).
