IJM Land Berhad public announcement
IJM Land Berhad developer of THE LIGHT development announces the permanent lane closure and traffic diversions on the fast lanes on both the George Town-bound and Bayan Lepas-bound routes from October 15, 2023, to March 31, 2024.
This is to facilitate construction works on the Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu Expressway median for THE LIGHT Interchange.
The said works include the construction of new elevated ramps connecting to THE LIGHT Waterfront Penang and the widening of Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu Expressway.
These upgrades will significantly benefit the public by strengthening the current
infrastructure.
IJM Land is committed to minimising construction-related disruptions to the public by implementing a comprehensive traffic management plan throughout the construction period.
