Dufu Technology Corporation Bhd donated RM500,000 towards the Penang Covid-19 Fund while its executive chairman also donated RM500,000 to make it RM1 million in total.
The corporate social responsibility project was in response to the state government appeal for donations to fight the pandemic.
The funds will be utilized to equip the State Health Department with the necessary tools.
On hand was Penang Chief Minister along with Dufu executive chairman, Lee Hui Ta along with the company’s group chief executive officer Yeoh Beng Hooi at the presentation ceremony.
