Some 8,000 attendees from 30 countries gather at the Setia SPICE Convention Centre for the five-day QNET gathering this time around from today till June 25, 2025.

More importantly, this year marks the 13th consecutive year that QNET has chosen Penang as its destination.

The convention is a result of strategic collaboration between QNET, its longstanding event partner V Global Management (The V), Tourism Malaysia, Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), and its state-level affiliate, Penang Convention and Exhibition Bureau (PCEB).

Present at a press conference held at the Amari SPICE Penang to share details on the gathering was State Exco for Tourism and Creative Economy YB Wong Hon Wai along with Naresh Balasubramaniam CEO of V Management and Trevor Kuna, Chief Marketing Officer QNET.

QNET’s continued commitment to hosting its international convention here contributes directly to job creation, tourism revenues and Penang’s brand as a global Business Events destination.” added Wong.

He also added that the gathering is a powerful example of how cross-sector collaboration can boost Penang’s MICE profile and economic growth.

“We are also investing in the future, signature projects like the Penang Hill cable car, the upcoming Penang Waterfront Convention Centre )PWC), LRT, expansion of the Penang International Airport (PIA) are among some of them,” he added.
